Science!
What happend when you put vinegar and baking soda together: When Cooper R. put the vinegar into the cup of baking soda then it started bubbling in the cup.
What happend when we mixed baking soda and vinegar in a cup then poured co2 on a candle: well, when I poured the co2 on the candle it blew the candle out.
How did the co2 cause it to burn out the candle?

mYTH busters
1. name 1 or more of the myths in todays episode: can a soda in a foam cup kill someone if you throw it out the window of a car, how long can you hold on to a city building if you fell out of the window.
2. explain why these myths were labeled busted, confirmed or plausible: the soda can one was busted and the falling out of a building one was busted.
3. pick 1 or more myth that you saw today and explain a different way you might test it: I wouldn't wanna test any of them differently
4. put down your own myth that you think should be tested: I really don't know.

Newton's Laws of Motion
Your team must do the following:
1. Have a skit that demonstrates one of Newton’s Laws of motion
2. Have an online or offline poster demonstrating a law.
3. Have an animation that shows one law of motion.
All three laws must be presented.
Newton’s Laws are:
First Law
An object at rest will stay at rest unless a force acts on it. An object in motion will stay in motion unless a force acts on it. = animation
Second Law
The more mass an object has, the harder it is to put it in motion or stop it if it is already in motion. = poster
Third Law
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. = skit
Group Jobs
1. Come up with an action plan - who does what
2. Meet back in regular intervals , 15 min?, 20 min? Less?
3. Discuss progress and give helpful feedback

Does salt water effect plant growth?
State The Problem: Does salt water effect plant growth
Gather Info: Salt water affects plants by dehydrating them. Salt water also affects plant by stunting there
growth. The affect that the salt water has on plants depends on how much salt water is in it.
Hypothesis: I think the salt water plant will die and the regular water will be just fine.
Experiment Steps:
1. you get 4 cups
2. you get the lima bean
3. you get the plastic wrap
4. you get the paper towel
5. After that you put some salt and water in one of the cups
6. Then you label the salt water cup
7. then you get another cup and put just regular tap in the cup
8. then you label the tap water cup
9. you get the two other cups and sit them down beside you, you will need them in a second
10. You get the lima bean and you wrap the lima bean in the paper towel ( tip: leave the lima bean a little bit out so it can get some sun)
11. then you wet the paper towel that has the lima bean in it
12. then you put the lima bean with the paper towel wrapped around it in a cup
13. Poor out the remaining water from the cup
14. after that you do the 10th, 11th and 12th step again with the last cup ( but you use tap water instead of saltwater)
15. Then you put the cups with the lima beans in them by your window seal so your bean can get sunlight to grow
16. Then check your lima beans every day to see the results
Results: 9/17/2012 My fresh water plant is growing better then the salt water. The salt water plant is not growing at all.
